On Saturday Paul took me to Gainesville. Our purpose was for me to pick out a Gator sweatshirt I got for Christmas but we did a lot of fun sightseeing and Paul got to relive some great moments from when he lived there.
But before we got to Gainesville, Paul wanted to go to Tampa to eat at a DDD restaurant! It was a burger place that did not disappoint!
Then we headed to Gainesville! First we stopped at Goodwill to pick up some Gator shirts and other goodies!
Then we went to a State Park to see the Gators but we weren't able to. But Aunt Beth, we did get a picture of this English moss for you!
Then Paul took me to Satchels which is a fun restaurant I have never been too and it was FULL of character!
You can eat in that van... Paul and Meg have both eaten there before.
Then we went to the gift shop and found this stoplight Paul donated to them before he moved. How cool it is now the bathroom sign!
Next up was my favorite... the UF stadium!
We walked around and soon realized the gate where we normally get in was locked! We walked around and everything was locked! I was heartbroken but we decided to just keep walking since we were so far around anyway and we finally found a gate that was open! WAHOO!
We even used the bathroom in there! How cool is the soap dispenser!
Before heading home, we stopped for Ice Cream at a local favorite!
Then dinner was Publix subs! A Florida staple!
At this point it was time to head back to Gma and Gpa! It was a great day with my brother!
Then we headed home which is always an adventure!
