Happy New Year's from Florida

We spent our New Year's Eve swimming! The water was quite warm and we had a blast floating on our noodles!



While Grandma, Mom, Paul, and I were swimming, Grandpa and Dad were taking an afternoon nap. (Grandpa is sleeping with his Christmas present and Dad is sleeping on Grandma's present.)




We also enjoyed riding our bikes this afternoon in the warm Florida sun and gentle breeze.



For our last meal of 2008, we took Grandpa for a nice steak dinner at Outback. He thought it was much better than hospital food. Here he is having some bread with his butter.


We are truly enjoying spending our time with Grandma and Grandpa at the campground here in Florida. Grandpa continues to do well and they are definitely well taken care of here. Grandpa got a great report on his eye today and the eye doctor! He can now ride his bike... but the doctor told him he cannot box or wrestle gators. People have been calling and coming by the house to bring goodies and to check on both of them. I went on a bike ride with Grandpa and everyone in the campground stopped us because they were so happy to see Grandpa back and doing so well. They are very loved here!
