Introducing... Mr. and Mrs. Polk!

On the Friday I tracked out, we flew down to Orlando, Florida to see my childhood best friend, Olivia (we grew up together in Florida and were best friends when we moved to NC when I was 7). We do not see each other often but I was so grateful to go to be there when she got married! Her parents and my parents were good friends in Florida.

We stayed at the Mattox B&B (as we like to call it). They are great friends of my parents and they live in downtown Orlando but you could never tell by being at their house because they have a lake in their backyard complete with swans and ducks. It is quiet, beautiful, cozy, and refreshing! Debbie is the hostess with the mostest!!! She made the best chocolate pie, helped me iron my dress, always has ice tea and coffee, and so kind and caring! She also made us the sweetest breakfast to go for our early flight out (yogurt, banana, ham biscuit). Thank you Mattoxs for letting us stay with you and for being great friends! Here are some pictures of their home and our stay at the Mattox B&B!

On Saturday, March 6 Olivia Hull and Ty Polk got married! It was a beautiful wedding and a fun celebration! Olivia was the happiest bride I have seen... the smile never left her face. She is has such a free-spirit and has a relaxed personality! The reception consisted of lots of dancing!!! The bride and groom, along with their friends and family, had a blast dancing together! I am so grateful we got to go and I would have not missed this for the world! Congratulations Olivia and Ty Polk!

Ty and Olivia wiht Ty's parents (yes, that is his mom!) This picture makes me giggle because mom is holding on to Ty's arm and then fixing his tux!

The best men (Ty's brothers) and the matron on honor (Olivia's sister, Sarah)

*Unfortunately, we do not have any pictures of all of Mom and Dad's friends they caught up with at the reception because Mom's camera battery and my camera battery died. Oh well!!
