Mom's Birthday Celebration

We started celebrating Mom's birthday the Sunday before she turned 56.  Sara made mom a lemon pound cake and it was oh so yummy!  Look closely (very closely) and the candles are in a shape of a 5 and 6.  We loved singing to her and celebrating together as the "Sunday night dinner club"!

On her actual birthday, Mom wanted to stay at home and eat homemade macaroni and cheese.  So that is exactly what we did!  Mom and I went on a walk with Zoe.  Then the three of us took a group trip to Food Lion in jammies and high-water sweat pants!  We were one good looking crew!  We came back home and hung out while Dad cooked dinner!  Oh so yummy!  Then we watched TV and vegged out together!

Then the next night, Paul came in town and we went out to dinner at Lubrano's (wonderful Italian restaurant in Morrisville)!  We had a great time laughing, drinking, making jokes with Penny (our awesome waitress), drinking, crying, drinking... well you get the idea.  Let's just say that mom is only allowed one glass of wine!  We had a great time together!  Once everyone made it home, mom opened presents!  Dad gave mom her plane ticket to Zambia over Spring Break and Paul and I got her a UF gator shirt!  It was a week full of spending time together, lots of laughter, and love!  We love you oh so very much, Mom!
