UConn Huskies (#1) played Duke Blue Devils (#7) and well let's just say, the Huskies whipped their hineys!
Aunt Jeanne and Patti flew down to go to the game with the Radcliffs that live in the Triangle-ish area!! The Cameron Stadium was very small and compact. I think the Duke fans seem so obnoxious because they play in such a tight area! But then again, they just may be obnoxious... the whole stadium roared/cheered every time UConn traveled, hit a ball out of bounds, stepped in a weird direction. But soon enough, we quieted them as we almost beat them by double points. Great game, great company, great personal Lucky M&Ms, and I got to sit next to my bball buddy!
Before the game, we met at Kris and Chrissy's place for pizza, salad, and dessert. Oh... and great company of course! Then we piled in 4 cars and headed to the game! We smuggled in water and sat in two rows next to each other. We cheered, we watched the fabulous jump ropers, and chatted with each other. After the game, we said goodbye to Paul and Meg as they headed back to school. We then headed back to Chrissy and Kris' apartment and the rest of us said our goodbyes there! (But not without a lot of belly rubs first!)
