Aunt Jeanne's Birthday Dinner

Each Labor Day weekend, we come together to celebrate Aunt Jeanne's birthday (that either falls before or during Labor Day weekend). We enjoy this time where we get to celebrate with her! This year we went out to eat at a gorgeous place called Mountain View Restaurant- the name says it all! Then we came home to have birthday cupcakes. Each year we do something different for Aunt Jeanne's birthday dessert... we have done sleeping bag brownies, tent cake with animals, rained-on cupcakes, cake in a box (yeah, that was interesting), red hat cake, flip flop cake, the list goes on. This year, we made yummy cupcakes (since cupcakes are the new thing, and all). We bought stickers and such to represent each person and put them on the top of the cupcakes. Aunt Jeanne then had to guess which cupcake represented each person. That was a lot of fun and the cupcakes tasted very unique and oh so yummy!
